| When
I think of a rottweiler, I see a dog of size with strong
bone, heavy muscled and thick in body. His chest is broad and
deep. He gives the impression of strength and power no matter what
angle you look at him from. The head is strong and square with lots
of width and a wide, short muzzle.
Unfortunately many Rotts I see
these days including many show Champions lack bone, width of body,
and are small in size. Head types sometimes remind me more of a
Doberman than a Rottweiler!
Max definitely stands out in any
Rottweiler crowd! He is a very large boy...well above the size of
the average Rottie male. At 27" and 125 lbs, he's the largest the
AKC Standard allows, yet he's still very well balanced and correct.
His bone is tremendous, his head is perfect, his topline is
straight, his chest is broad and his mouth and eyes are dark.
Max also possesses correct Rottweiler temperament.
I'm very pleased to have Max in my
breeding program. He will sire puppies that are not only correct to
the standard but possess the bone, head and substance so many
Rottweilers are lacking.
