| When
I think of a rottweiler, I see a dog of size with strong bone, heavy
muscled and thick in body. His chest is broad and deep. The
impression of strength and power is obvious no matter what angle you
look at him from. The head should clearly represent the breed. A
male's head should be clearly masculine with a broad. square muzzle.
Unfortunately many Rotties I see these days including some show
Champions lack bone, width of body, and are smaller in size. Head
types sometimes remind me more of a Doberman than a Rottweiler!
Max definitely stands out in any
Rottweiler crowd! He is a very large boy...well above the size of
the average Rottie male. At 27" and 125 lbs, he's the largest the
AKC Standard allows, yet he's still very well balanced and correct.
His bone is tremendous. His head is outstanding and without a doubt
represents his breed and his sex. His topline is straight, his chest
and shoulders are broad and his mouth and eyes are dark. Max also possesses correct Rottweiler temperament.
